There are instances wherein one needs the help of a therapist because something is bothering him or her. Needless to say, therapists do not give pieces of advice. Apparently, clients have an idea as to how to solve their problems but because their minds are clouded, they do not have a clear perception of the solution. This is where therapists come in--they lead clients to arrive at the right decision. A very good example is when troubled couples need help from an external source. They do not have mental issues but they will definitely benefit from seeing a therapist.
