Can somebody help me solve this Logarithmic Equation? Please don't just give me the answer, I want to actually learn how to do this and understand, so an explanation will be greatly appreciated, please and thank you! ^^

Equation: 3×log(base 5)(x^2+9) - 6 = 0

$3\cdot \log_5(x^2+9)-6=0\\3\cdot \log_5(x^2+9)=6\\\ \log_5(x^2+9)=6/3 \\\ \log_5(x^2+9)=2\\x^2+9=5^2\\ x^2+9=25\\ x^2=25-9\\ x^2=16\\x=б4$

Answer: x=-4;  x=4
