He was the ruler of the Mali kingdom from 1312 to 1337C.E.,he was the richest ruler of all times, he earned his wealth by trading gold and salts which was in abundance in West Africa.
The countrymen of Musas earned and receive uncountable money from him, so the value of money decreased as there was an oversupply of money and precious metal. So the oversupply caused inflation and instability in the Middle East for several years.
