Which sentence uses dashes correctly?
a. We will use the same color for the bookcase—light green—that we used on the door and window frames.
b. Yard work—for example, raking leaves and planting shrubs—fills many of our autumn weekends.
c. Open the windows—to let the breeze in—and the paint will dry fast.
d. I intend to—paint that bookcase tomorrow—help me remove all the books.
I'd say the correct answer is A, because it seems to be the only one where dashes are used correctly. C and D are obviously incorrect. B seems correct, but it is not because of 'for example'. If it weren't for that, it would be correct.
