1) Creating a petition- Developing a petition explaining your concerns about unfair laws or conditions can help get the attention of your elected representatives. This is especially true when you can get other people to sign your petition.
2) Peaceful protest- This can include something like an organized march. For example, during the Civil Rights movement, different organizations structured marches on the capitol to show their discontent with laws that limited the rights of African American citizens.
3) Write a letter to your representative- You could write a formal letter to an elected official explaining your concerns and why you think a law needs to be changed.
