A line is a straight set of points that extend in opposite directions without ending. Aray is a part of a line that has one endpoint and extends in one direction without ending. A line segment is a part of a line between two endpoints.

A ray has one starting point and other end of ray when produced from that point with the help of line segment ,it goes infinitely in that direction in which it is produced.The other end is not fixed.
For example: Take star as a point in space .From there infinite number of rays originate which goes in many direction.So, it has a starting point that is where the star is located and we can't find other end.
Take example of Electric Bulb.Considering it as a point,you can observe that infinite number of rays(Combination of a point and Infinite line segment) originating from that electric bulb.The Point is Bulb.

A line segment has both end fixed.It is of finite length.For example, Height of any Human measured in feet,cm or inches is an example of line segment.Diameter of sun is line segment.
