The interactions between the integumentary, muscular and skeletal systems of the human body are critical for the optimum function of the human body. The skeletal system is the human body's skeleton or bones. The skeleton provides the structure that allows us to stand upright and move. If we did not have a skeleton, we would be as floppy as jellyfish. The muscular system consists of our muscles, ligaments and tendons that hold the skeletal system in place and allows us to move. The integumentary system is our skin. Our skin covers the muscular system and protects it from the dangers of the outside world
