Finding a common denominator, we have 3*10=30. Therefore, we multiply 2/3 by 10/10 (we can do this using the identity property of multiplication) and 4/10 by 3/3 to get 20/30-12/30=8/30=4/15 (by dividing 8 and 30 by 2)
