"In delay there lies no plenty" is similar in meaning to

1.He who hesitates is lost.

2.All things come to him who waits.

3.Don't count your chickens before they hatch.

4.Fools rush in where angels fear to tread.

Respuesta :

Your answer is 1.

2 is wrong because nothing comes to people who sit and wait, you have to work for things.
3 is basically used (atleast in my household) when someone says someone else was wrng
4 i have no clue what it means honestly.

1 is right for the fact that when you hesitate and wait to do things you can lose the chance to get the prize or lose the chance to do it. So when you delay, you dont get the plenty.

Plenty could mean prizes or oppurtunitys etc.
