Assuming these are your options: where did I leave out the details?, what did you think of my essay?, where was I repetitive?, and which parts, if any, were confusing to you?, then the correct answer is what did you think of my essay.
This is not something your editor should concern him or herself with because their job is only to look at your grammar, word choice, syntax, etc., and not the actual meaning of the text. The editor's job is to make your text free of mistakes, but you should be the one to revise the meaning, or you can ask a friend to read it and help you.
