The early days of the Pacific war made the US to experienced heavy physical loss of ships and planes due to attacks by Japan. Japan started to capture south Asian regions and islands. During this war, Japan started to capture many allied forces and lead to many financial and natural losses.  

In the year 1941, Japan attacked the US at Perl Harbor that damaged the US fleet. In retaliation, the US declared its war situation with Japan. Japan achieved success in the military war by destroying its troops, which provided it a victory over Hong Kong and Wake Island.

Japan also captured armed Forces of  140,000 military and American people. However, towards the end of the war, the US started to win the battle, which forced Japan to withdraw due to heavy loss and costly war.
