She is remembering her lover's past death and all she dwells on is memories and past accounts with them.
In the poem "Remembrance," the speaker remembers the love she had for her lover who is now dead and buried. As he has been dead for some time, she is trying to figure out whether the love has died in her, or whether she still loves him like she did before. She concludes that she continues to love him, but she is hopeful she can be happy again, and asks for her lover forgiveness, as she thinks she will eventually get over her grief.
