If the second equation is -2 * 3 ^x, then there would be 1 solution that exist for the system. If you graph the system, one is quadratic and the other is linear. They intersect at one point, meaning that the solution has one solution. If the lines were the same, there would be infinite many solutions, and if the lines were parallel there would be no solutions. Hope this helped.
