A ball is thrown from an initial height of
4 feet with an initial upward velocity of
29 ft/s. The ball's height h
(in feet) after t
seconds is given by the following.

We are using simple gravity as a constant (ignoring air resistance and change in height)

a=-g  integrating with respect to t

v=-gt+C  where C is the initial velocity...

v=-gt+29  integrating again with respect to time...

h=(-gt^2)/2+29t+C  where C is the initial height of the ball...

h(t)=-16t^2+29t+4
