The average temperature at the South Pole is – 45º F. The average
temperature on the Equator is 92º F. How much warmer is the average
temperature on the Equator than at the South Pole?

Respuesta :

It is 137 degrees fahrenheit warmer on the equator than the south pole.
92+45=137
The answer is 47 degrees. Simply just change the negative number into a positive to get a positive outcome. Then subtract 92-45 since more than is the key word for subtraction. So the temperature on the equator is 47 more degrees warmer than the temperature on the South Pole. WOW! I never knew that!
