In the first problem: numerals 7 through 10 on the left side of the vertical line represent integers BEFORE a decimal point. Numerals on the right side of this vertical line represent "tenths," as in 7.3 (the "3" represents 3 tenths).
You may find it easier to do this problem if you'd first arrange the given numbers in ascending order.
The given list contains 9.5, 9.6 and 9.6. On the right side of the vertical line, you'd want to write 5, 6 and 6, to represent 0.5, 0.6 and 0.6.
