Because of the way oxygen and hydrogen are bonded together, water has an area of positive charge and an area of negative charge. This makes the water a polarmolecule. Because of water's polarity, water molecules are attracted to each other. Hope this helps
Water molecules attract to each other because water has the ability to "stick" to stuff. Thats why things stay wet after getting water on them. Some things dry quicker than others because of the different textures and materials. This occurs because one side of each water molecule is slightly negative and the other side is slightly positive. And then of course opposites attract. So if you have a negative molecule and a positive molecule they will naturally want to come together.
