Given ,

• Ratio of Mary , Martha & Susan = 3 : 4 : 13
• Money recieved by Mary = 12,000

We need to find ,

• Money recieved by Martha & Susan = ?

Let the ratio given be the part of x . So ,

• 3x = Mary = 12,000
• 4x = Martha = ?
• 13x = Susan = ?

→ 3x = 12000

→ x = 12000 ÷ 3

→ x = 4000

Now money recieved for Martha and Susan

Martha ⇒ 4x = 4 ( 4000 ) = 16000

Susan ⇒ 13x = 13 ( 4000 ) = 52000

Hence, share of Martha is 16000 and share of Susan is 52000 .
