A contour line is an imaginary line that are drawn to represent the contour interval they are formed along a hilly side and show its shallowness and the steepness of the terrain.
Thus are an important factor in the elevation of place and a region in terms of the V and the U shaped region and the steepness is shown by the closeness of the lines and the shallow nes o lines indicated by the even spaces.
Hence the constant lines indicate that the contour is far away and that its a tableland or small hill.
