These aren't too hard -- you should really try to do them yourself.
The upper triangle has base 2+2=4 and height 3.2. The lower one has base 4 and height 4. Of course the area of a triangle half base times height.
Area = (1/2) 4(3.2) + (1/2)(4)(4) = 2(7.2) = 14.4
Answer: 14.4 sq ft
