Pride is the most dangerous sin; the Pardoner proudly proclaims that his is the best
story and he should win before hearing any of the other tales.
Anyone may turn against you at any time given the right situation; later in the prologue
the Summoner will turn against the Pardoner.
The love of money (greed) is the root of all evil; the Pardoner ends his tale by asking
his fellow travelers to give him money.
