Kite Sales. Wendy is president of ABC Kites, a business that manufactures kites. Her company’s kites are sold to large toy stores. After Wendy learned a great deal about kites, she started to make kites at home and to promote them to large toy stores. She also started selling kites to friends. Some of the directors learned about her kite sales and accused her of wrongdoing. Wendy denied any wrongdoing. What remedy, if any, will be imposed on Wendy for her home kite sales?

Respuesta :

Answer:

By a preponderance of the facts, she can show that the company has lost no revenue as a result of its actions.

Explanation:

Since ABC kites generate their sales by selling kites, and if Wendy is the president of the business doing the same thing, she is somehow robbing prospective consumers, but the key issue is that ABC kites are marketed to large toy shops, and Wendy, but at the other hand, has sold kites to her mates who are not potential customers of ABC kites.

Even the kites sold by Wendy are not manufactured by ABC kites but are created by themselves at home so that they also do not abuse any of the properties of the company. Even though the Board of Directors lodges a lawsuit against it on grounds of conflict of interest, "it may show by the preponderance of the facts that the corporation has not lost any revenue as a result of its actions."
