On a two-way street or highway, all drivers moving in either direction must stop for a stopped school bus which is picking up or dropping off children, unless the highway is divided and the bus is on the other side of the roadway.
If the road is only two lanes, all drivers moving in either direction must come to a complete stop for the school bus. If the roadway is a multiple-lane, divided highway, only vehicles on the same side as the bus must stop.
