2. How can studying the material culture of a society help you learn about its
nonmaterial culture? Explain and give an example.

Respuesta :

Studying material culture leads to a better understanding of what is the immaterial culture of that place.

Immaterial culture has a degree of abstraction, that is, it is not concrete. Some examples are values, beliefs, folklore, dances, music, visual arts, parties and religiosity.

Intangible cultural heritage involves knowledge that is passed on from generation to generation. As people who have this knowledge are always changing and multiplying, culture and intangible heritage are threatened.
