You are a current undergraduate student. During the week of graduation, you attend a number of parties around the Lower Mainland with your best friend, Kelly. The last party is held at a camp ground in Squamish. The morning after the party, you receive a call from Kelly. She asks that you come over and talk. Kelly reveals that she left early and drove home despite drinking that night. Enter the room and talk to Kelly.

As from the given situation it becomes clear that Kelly is feeling guilty of what she has done last night and as a best friend it is my duty to talk to her in correct way. So my conversation would be like:

Kelly I know that you have broken the law of driving despite drinking last night and it is not okay because it could be dangerous for your life, see such laws are not prohibition on us but are for our safety. If you had to leave early for the home then you could have told me, I am your best friend Kelly and I am there for you for any kind of help. However, you realized your mistake and that's the good thing, as a friend if you are comfortable I would suggest you to confess in front of law that you have broken the law and pay penalty and keep in mind that you will never commit such an act again.
