we need to paint a deck that is 42 feet long and 28 feet wide 1 gallon of paint covers 350 feet how many gallons of paint is needed to cover the deck

42x28 to find area
=1176
then divide that by 350
=3.36
then round up because you cant buy .36 of a paint can so 
=4
