SCNT stands for Somatic Cell Nuclear Transfer. It is used for creating an ovum with a donor nucleus. It can be useful in embryology and a donor nucleus.
The steps of SCNT are as following:
d. Isolate donor cells from egg donor and germ cell donor
c. Remove and discard the nucleus from the egg cell
e. Transfer the somatic cell nucleus into the egg cell
a. Stimulate cell division
f. Implant embryo into a surrogate mother
b. Deliver baby

To make a clone, researchers isolate a somatic cell from an adult female organism. Next, they transfer the nucleus from that cell to an egg cell from which the nucleus has been removed. After a couple of chemical tweaks, the egg cell, with its new nucleus, behaves like a newly fertilized egg or zygote. It develops into an embryo, which was implanted into a surrogate mother and carried to term.
