Respuesta :

The fallacy that can be identified and that can be discredited is the idea that African American people are inferior based on perceptions from an earlier time. This is, and it has always been, a fallacy, a false, but unfortunately widespread, belief that can be nevertheless counterclaimed. African American people have been historically stereotyped as carefree, lazy and simple-minded, and, more recently, also as gangsters, drug dealers or athletes, among other negative and false traits, but this claim can and must be counterclaimed. Even if at some point in time they were seen as inferior, it is absolutely wrong to judge them as inferior nowadays because of those early perceptions, which were the result of a way of thinking that praised those who ruled and were in control and prosecuted and discriminated those who were being controlled. There is no such thing as an inferior group people based on their race.
