Respuesta :

The Mesolithic, a period which started after the Last Glacial Maximum, and the Neolithic. Its time span varies depending on the region, overall, it could be said that it dates from around 15.000 to 4.000 BCE.

This is a transition period between the Paleolithic and the Neolithic, the first characterized for a time of hunting big animals, with relatively rudimentary stone tools and without a defined social structure; and the second, a time of settled farmers with a greater influence on the landscape among other advancements, started in the Mesolithic.

The main advances were the sophistication of stone, which led to sharper and wider array of tools  and consequently, this gave access to different food suplies; the introduction of farming and the development of art, such as paintings depicting food gathering, dancing and clothing. Additionally, there is evidence of some astronomical or possibly ritual stone arrangements and pottery.
