You gave Annie =======> 10 + 2 =======> Now Annie has 12 (Apples)

You have =========> 11 - 2 ========> (9 Apples Left)

Annie has 10 and you have 11 , you give her 2 so it would be 10+2 = 12 . You gave her apples so it would be 11-2=9 . You now have 9 apples and Annie has 12 . I hope that helped :)
