[tex](fg)(x)=f(x)\cdot g(x)[/tex]
The limit of a product is the same as the product of limits:
[tex]\displaystyle\lim_{x\to-9}(fg)(x)=\lim_{x\to-9}f(x)\cdot\lim_{x\to-9}g(x)=-1\cdot-3=3[/tex]
so the answer is A.
