if you laid one of each size bolt end to end, how long would the row of bolts be?
3/8 inch, 1/2 inch, 5/8 inch, 7/8 inch, 1 1/4 inches.

Ok, you would convert all fractions to have the same denominator, and... well, you should get, 5.125 inches, or 41/8 inches long.
