Change each mixed numeral into a fraction, and then multiply them together using the rule for multiplication of fractions.

[tex] 6 \dfrac{1}{3} \times 5 \dfrac{2}{8} = [/tex]

[tex] = 6 \dfrac{1}{3} \times 5 \dfrac{1}{4} [/tex]

[tex] = \dfrac{19}{3} \times \dfrac{21}{4} [/tex]

[tex] = \dfrac{19 \times 21}{3 \times 4} [/tex]

[tex] = \dfrac{19 \times 7 \times 3}{4 \times 3} [/tex]

[tex] = \dfrac{19 \times 7}{4} [/tex]

[tex] = \dfrac{133}{4} [/tex]

[tex] = 33 \dfrac{1}{4} [/tex]
