Read a newspaper. As you read that newspaper, pay attention to the way it is written. Look for examples of slang, informal language, and coined words (The comics section, headlines, and humorous columns are good places to look.). Record at least five examples you find, define them in general English, and label them according to type.

They are basically asking you to find anything that is not proper English. For example slang, words that are not originally english words but were twisted misinterpreted by people e.g. "this is lit". Also informal language is anything that is grammaticality incorrect or misspelled or even used as a different meaning from what its supposed to mean. So basically just find words and phrases that doesn't support the English language. hope this helps
