Nutrients plays a big part in the source of the plants energy, and maintaing it's normal functions for it's life cycle. For the plant Nutrients are ONE of the fuels needed. ( Other than the sun & water )
Each nutrient has a sepcific task they perform. The plants nutrients affects their growth in many ways. Such as the vitiams and minerals they will produce. The aiding needed for plant reproduction, plant metabolism photosynthesis, root growth,plant development etc. These are many ways nutrients affect plant growth.
