PICC (peripherally inserted central catheter)
PICC line is a long, thin, and flexible tube used for medications
such as prolonged Intravenous antibiotic treatment, chemotherapy, and total
parenteral nutrition. PICC line is also used to collect blood samples for
laboratory tests.
