Andrew is describing the water cycle in three steps, as shown in this simple model.
Which statement belongs in the third region?
a. Waterfalls from the atmosphere as rain, ice, or snow.
b. Water turns to ice or snow and stays in the atmosphere.
c. Water in the clouds evaporates from the heat of the Sun.
d. Water formed in the clouds causes the clouds to rise.

Respuesta :

The answer is A, because water that falls from the sky is what in turn evaporates and creates a gas.

Answer:  Waterfalls from the atmosphere as rain, ice, or snow. (Option A)

Explanation:

The water cycle has three phases’ evaporation, condensation and precipitation

Sun causes the water to evaporate in the form of water vapors due to heat.

As the water vapor reaches the atmosphere (clouds) the water vapor join to change into water this process is called condensation.

In the atmosphere, the water vapors combine to form large water droplets (rain). Therefore, when the water droplets become larger and heavier they fall down due to gravity and this process is called precipitation.
