Vietnamization was the Nixon administration plan of getting American forces from Vietnam following public outcry against the war. In the new plan the USA forces would train the Vietnam forces and equip its army and leave it to fight in the war. The policy was viewed by several critics,especially the hawks, and others like Kelly as a weak policy that attempted to show victory and save face,but essentially one lacking a concrete plan.
Vietnamization was a policy of the Nixon administration, the plan was to train the South Vietnamese forces to stop communism in Vietnam. He defended that the Us would only provide air support instead of ground forces.
Kerry was against the Vietnam war, because of that he formed a group against it to spread the word of the bad things that happened in Vietnam.
