Question

Can someone please help me? I’m trying to convert this Exponential equation to a Logarithmic equation (or make it the inverse of itself). I thought the work I was doing was right but the graph doesn’t show them as inverses. Need help :|

y = (-1/4)6^x
-4y = 6^x

Convert to log form:

log₆ (-4y) = x

You could swap the x's and y's in order to graph it and see that they are inverses

y = log₆ (-4x)
and
y = (-1/4)6^x
