Inconsistent. If they allowed her to stay up past her usual bedtime hour they demonstrated that the rule didn't really hold any meaning and can be bent. If they keep that up she will have no solid rule to follow and it's damaging especially if it was okay to do it one time, and then be punished for doing it the next time. It could be labeled abusive in some standards psychologically.
They could have a rerun of the show so that when she obeys her parents they could reward her with letting her watch it online before her bedtime.
