why do people read ?

Many people read to gain knowledge or better understanding of a topic. Some read for entertainment, or as a hobby. I like reading because it helps me better picture something then if someone was just talking to me.

Reading is the most important thing you learn in life.
That's why its the first.

Reading goes along with writing. People write to state their ideas on a place that will never change. As in someone has a idea in their mind. They can easily forget that idea to be gone forever. Writing has changed this. You can write down an idea to always remember and share with others.

This goes to reading. You need to be able to read to be able to write. And even if you write. You cant read it. They go together and cant be done individually.

Without reading and writing. Language couldn't exist either.

Which is crucial. Communication is crucial no matter if your playing a sport or your at work trying to tell your boss your quitting. :)
