Describe two ways in which a lack of access to health care can affect treating a person for diabetes.

Respuesta :

lack of access to health care, can cause a diabetic to be misinformed, noncompliant with medications and risking future complications because of their behavior. basically, it is up to the patient to decide to stick with a treatment plan. lack of access is very rare in the US. in some countries, it is a huge problem getting an appointment, accessing supplies and meds..

Lack of access to healthcare can affect treating diabetes because 1. the patient will not be able to afford the correct and effective medications which are regularly required in diabetes, 2.  if not diagnosed on time, undiagnosed and untreated diabetes can worsen the health conditions which will require more specialized treatment, which may not be available.

What is diabetes ?

Diabetes is a chronic (long-lasting) health condition that affects how your body turns food into energy.
