I would say that a quality research question would have A,B and C characteristics but does not have to be literature or history, as also it could be related to say the natural sciences. So it can be debatable, supported by scientific experimentation and is several sentences long. To limit it to one answer, I would say that it would be debatable.
Answer:
B. It is focused on a debatable topic.
Explanation:
A quality research question does not necessarily need to be supported by experimentation. Nor does it need to relate to literature or history or be several sentences long. However, a research question does need to be focused on a debatable topic. This is because only debatable topics require research. If a topic has been firmly established as beyond debatable, there is little need for more research to be performed on the subject.
