Alcohol can make many of your organs not work properly and get diseases. For your heart you could get cardiomyopathy which is stretching and drooping of the heart muscle, Arrhythmias which is an irregular heartbeat, stroke and high blood pressure. For your liver you could develop steatosis or fatty liver, alcoholic hepatitis, fibrosis and cirrhosis.
