Distribution of wealth was a huge problem because the wealthy were only becoming wealthier while the poor were becoming poorer. This was mostly because the economic boom after world war 2 meant that many capitalists earned a huge amount of money while the working class still remained the working class more or less.
Women were at a problem mostly with their employment. They either could not get jobs at all or would get jobs where they would be less paid than men and would also often have to suffer harassment and humiliation because they were not perceived to be as good as the men were at the jobs, even in the aftermath of World war 2 where female help was of great importance
Minorities were suffering from being disenfranchised. Asian Americans often suffered backlash because of world war 2 and the ongoing Korean war, while the African-Americans were being segregated and disenfranchised in every way possible as racism was growing to unprecedented heights in the south which led to the civil rights struggle.
