1 U.S.A. has had a long conflict with terrorists
2 He wanted to anger the U.S. to get whatever he wants(he hasn't told us yet)
3 Terrorists tend to want to have his way and dont like to "reason" with people.
4 They want their voice heard without speaking, they want a full blown war, then they will speak what they want.
5 They want to get what they want using non-peaceful ways.
A similarity was they used non-peaceful ways to speak what the English wanted, and also they have already had a long conflict of wanting independence. Some differences are they tried to convince them to be on their side, instead of destroying everyone.
