1) Although we do not have access to this session, we know that the question refers to Angelica Dass, a photographer who specializes in portraits. Some of the guidelines that she suggests are paying attention to the use of color and light. Moreover, she suggests that we pay attention to focus in photography. I believe that Dass also adheres to these suggestions in her sessions.

2) It would be benefitial to talk about taking portraits of people who are distracted or engaged in an activity. This would make the portrait challenging, but also dynamic and natural.
