Oh this is super easy okay so the hypothesis is the long size and the Pythagorean theorem is a2+b2=c2

So 7(2) can be a2 ( or b2 it doesn’t matter)

So let’s put this in the equation

7(2)+b2=c2

So c2 is always ALWAYS gone be the hypothesis (long side) so it’s 10(2)

49+b2=100

So since we don’t have a b2 we’re gonna SUBTRACT

100+49= 149

Now take the squareroot

149= 12.206 so this is the answer
