Well, it depends. Children get sentenced to a certain amount of time depending on what they did. For example, if a child shot someone they would probably be there for at least 2 years, but it would be different if the person was killed. The Juvenile Detention Center is different from actual jail, of course, and children don’t usually get punished as much state wise because they are not adults, and adults get harsher consequences.
