There are
two issues here- reading online literature sites- which is Greg is free to do
in his free time, and the downloading of e-books- which is a criminal offense
if the said books are not up for public consumption and is downloaded without
the authors consent. Even if the books he downloaded were free to download and
not illegal, he should not be using company internet bandwidth
for recreational activities unless it is directly connected with a project for
the company.
